Materials

 

Open a document in PSP 670 x 450 transparent

Paint with color # 88B2FE

Copy & paste the grass as new layer

Adjust the grass with Move Tool

With Rectangle Selection Tool. Draw a selection like runway

Layers – New Raster Layer. Paint with color # 5E5C5C

Keep the selection.

Layers – New Raster Layer. Paint with color # 959191

Selections – Select None, Stand on the layer below (5E5C5C)

Select Deform Tool & above select Scale Mode

Pull the nods outwards a little

Copy & paste the trees as new layers, as you like

You can use any picture in the background for decoration

Give it a look like real Air-field

Copy & paste the enemy’s plane as new layer

Add as many planes as you like as new layers

With Move Tool give it a V shape

Merge all plane layers (Merge Down)

Copy this Merged layer

Paste as new layer at the top several times

View – Rulers. Enlarge the document 250%

Using the roller of the mouse

With Move tool, move the set of plane 5 points in each layer

Use the nose of the plane as indicator

 Does it like this

Close the plane layers

Edit – Copy Merged

Right click anywhere in the canvas – Paste as New Image

Minimize it. Again close the plane and tanker layers

Right click anywhere in the canvas – Paste as New Image

Image – Mirror

File – New. Open a document 1330 x 450 transparent

Copy & paste these two images, side by side

Minimize it

Back to original documents. Open all layers

Copy & paste the Bomber plane as new layer above runway

With Move Tool lace it on runway

Duplicate the layer & place it as you like

Merge these two layers

Copy this merged layer & paste as new layer, several times

Like before place the Bombers

Stop at this point. Rename the last layer ‘P’

Stand on the layer below P

Copy the merged image we minimized earlier

Paste as new layer. View – Ruler

Enlarge the document 250%

With Move Tool draw the background 5 points

Both at Right side & downwards

Pull this direction until the background disappear

We are done, Minimize this document

Open a new document in PSP 670 x 450 transparent

Paint with color # 88B2FE

Add grass as new layer.

Add Factory, House, School etc. as you like

Copy the Bomber set from previous document

Copy & paste this as new layers several times

Place them like before

Do not give any gap. I have given for your understanding

Add the fireball in 3 different layers, at the top

Resize & duplicate these 3 layers

Image – Resize 50% - 1st, 3rd & 5th layer

Stand on Factory 2 layer

Duplicate 9 times, stand on 1st layer

Effects – Plug-in Filters – Eye Candy 4000 – Fire

In other 8 layers, just click Random Seed once, in each layer

We are done

Now Animation

Open & close enemy’s plane layers one by one

Edit – Copy Merged

In Animation Shop, Edit – Paste - As New Animation

Then Edit – Paste – After Current frame

When the enemy’s plane disappear

Paste Bombers After Current frame

Open 2nd document

Open & close Bomber plane layers one by one

Edit – Copy Merged

In Animation Shop, Edit – Paste - After Current frame

When the bombers crosses a certain area

Open the fireball layers

First small then original

When the Bombers are going to disappear

Open the last 9 layers of Factory Fires

Now timing

In Animation Shop, Edit – Select All

Right click on any frame – Frame Properties

In the pop-up box give 5

Edit – Select None

Right click on first frame – Frame Properties

In the pop-up box give 200

Right click on last frame – Frame Properties

In the pop-up box give 300
